Timberland PRO Men's 40008 Mudsill Low Steel-Toe

Work Bootsthat look and feel likeHiking Shoes.

Caterpillar Mens Hydraulic Mid Cut Steel Toe Boot

At least 98% of the reviews stated that these Timberland Pro Mudsill Steel toe Lace up work boots/shoes (lots of words there) are absolutely THE most comfortable work boots, right out of the box, anywhere, Ever!

"Again, I have to qualify and say that these reviewers must not have ever worn any of the other boots that I have written about whose reviews also stated, categorically, that those other boots are THE most comfortable work boots anywhere, Ever!"

This style is low cut, so that it has the look and lightweight feel of hiking shoes, but the safety and sturdiness of work boots, such as the steel toes, slip, heat and oil resistant rubber soles and tough, oiled leather.

People in a lot of different professions reported on this Timberland Pro style of safety footwear.

Caterpillar_Mens_Hydraulic_Mid_Cut_Steel_Toe_Boot-SoleThe very first review I read was written by a guy who worked on a ship.  ...  I guess that sort of ship is very heavy equipment and the qualities appreciated by the wearers are the same.

  • He wrote of how extremely comfortable and breathable these work boots (or you could call them work shoes) are.

The steel safety toe is as important to shipping companies and captains as they are to heavy equipment operators and their employers.

"The excellent traction of the slightly softer rubber sole is as important on a sloppy concrete floor as it is on the wet aluminum floor of a wheel house".

A roofer, who spends a lot of time on his knees on shingles and other rough materials, writes that even with all the wear on the tops of the toes, the steel toes on Timberland's  Pro-mudsill- lace- ups wore very well and his 4 pairs have lasted better than any other styles he has had in his 20 years of HVAC work.

The word from Sea World is that with all the walking and climbing that they have to do, these leather work shoes remain very comfortable in the 10 to 12 hours they are worn at a time and they don’t wear out in 12 to 18 months of use.

Back in Malaysia, a member of an aircraft maintenance crew found this Timberland safety footwear model very comfortable and light.

  • Another point he mentions is that he surely appreciated the compliments of his co-workers on how nice they look and how a number of his colleagues are planning to get the same safety work shoes for themselves. :)

One of the reviewers had been to a doctor for the pain in his feet from standing all day.

  • The doctor said he has flat feet and gave him an arch support. After reading reviews of how comfortable these work shoes are, he bought a pair and never looked back. His feet feel great, no more pain, including the balls of his feet and his heels. He doesn’t even need the doctor’s insoles because these work shoes are so comfortable without them.

"He couldn’t be happier that his painful problem is solved and for such a reasonable price in the end".

Many of the reviewers said that Timberland pros are the best boots they have ever bought.

  • One construction worker said that he used to buy the cheap boots but he had to buy 2 or 3 pairs a year, so he got the more reliable and a bit more expensive Timberland brand. He went ahead and spent the money and he is now completely satisfied with his work boots. He has had the same pair of comfortable, Waterproof Work Boots for 2 years now and they are still great. Of course, these boots(shoes) meet OSHA standards.

One of our larger reviewers is 6’4” and weighs in at 360lbs, shoe size 15D.

He is in construction and he really likes these safety work shoes! He says that they are definitely the most comfortable work shoes that he has ever worn and that they are relatively light weight for steel toes.

He says that the cushioning inside these work shoes are as good as that of high quality sneakers.

He’s very happy with them and heartily recommends them, especially to other big guys.

By far, the comments made the most often were about how durable, extremely lightweight, and comfortable these work shoes are.
It was often said by these reviewers that they do a lot of walking and standing on their jobs and these safety work shoes are so protective and comfortable that you don’t even know you’re wearing them. “They’re great!” and “I’m going to buy another pair!” are often repeated by the guys who highly recommend them to other people.

Most said they fit true to size and lasted from 18 months to two years before they need to be replaced by another pair of Timberland Pro Mudsill Steel toe Lace up work boots/shoes.
